Biofuels and Bioenergy is the branch of Chemical Engineering that is involved in the study of Fuels and energy. Biofuels may be derived from agricultural crops, including conventional food plants or from special energy crops. Biofuels or second generation biofuels are fuels that can be processed from numerous types of biomass called lignocellulosic biomass. First generation biofuels are processed from the sugars and vegetable oils formed in arable crops, which can be smoothly extracted applying conventional technology. In comparison, advanced biofuels are made from lignocellulose biomass or woody crops, agricultural residues or waste, which makes it tougher to extract the requisite fuel. Biofuel technologies have been devised because first generation biofuels have few major limitations. First generation biofuel can be produced feasibly but restricted in most cases: there is a limit above which they cannot yield enough biofuel without forbidding food supplies and biodiversity.

The Biofuels 2020 is an event that aims to explore the ways to innovate in the field of Biofuels, and Bioenergy at London, UK on March 23-24, 2020. The conference will serve as a platform to bring together leading Chemical Engineering professors with different specialties. Biofuels 2020 will discuss on the topics such as Advanced Biofuels, Bioenergy, Algal Biofuels, Production of Biofuels, Biomass, Bioethanol, Renewable Energy, and Challenges in Research on Advanced Biofuels and Bioenergy, Environmental Impacts of Biofuels.

Dr. Muhammad Usman from Former Director General of Agricultural Research System, Pakistan to present a session on “Biofuels and Bioenergy is the major industry for the development of health, basic need of daily life, create employment, generate income, stronger economy, reducing financial crises, global Poverty and hunger in the developing countries of the world particularly in south Asia” and Ms. Jinghui Liang, from MSCA-FIRE PhD Fellow, University of Bath, UK, to present a session on “Tackling Carbon Catabolite Repression in Parageobacillus thermoglucosidasius” Biofuels Conference is glad to schedule the 11th Edition of International Conference on Biofuels and Bioenergy on March 23-24, 2020 at London, UK.
